60 miles DONE!

We did it! The DuBar Dolls headed out Friday morning EARLY to begin the 60 mile journey for the Breast Cancer 3-day. Maddox had to get up with Mommy at 5am! He was a trooper though. He was great for Corey all weekend. I even got to spend Friday night at the camp. Saturday night I did come home to sleep because I missed Maddox a lot! Here we are getting ready to head out on the open road. Maddox and Corey joined the rest of our families at the cheering stations to cheer us on as we passed. Maddox was handing out high fives left and right.
Qwest even had a cheering sections, so Jane, Corey, Mindi, Steve, and Maddox put on their pink and cheered away.
Hangin' out with Daddy. Maddox did great over the weekend taking lots of bottles and eating pretty well. Corey did an AMAZING job taking such great care of Maddox. THANK YOU SO MUCH HONEY! You're the best husband a girl could ask for!
Mindi practicing her mommy skills! January is just around the corner when she'll put those new found skills to use. I can't wait to meet your little one!
The finish line! We all made it blisters and all. We walked every step of the 60 miles.I couldn't wait to get my hands on Maddox and I don't think he wanted to let go of me. If I tried to give him to someone else, he would cling on for dear life.

These feet were made for walkin' - Well, maybe. My pinkie toes were in rough shape. They were white and blistered over after the walk.
Here's what they look like today.

I wouldn't trade this whole experience for anything! It was absolutely amazing! The 3-day makes you believe that if you try you can conquer the world one step at a time and walking it with the most wonderful women in the world sure helped too. Mom, I plan on walking this with you until we're old and gray, so 2008 here I come!!!

Yeah!! You did it. I'm so glad I could be there on Friday to cheer you all on- it was amazing, and made me want to give it a try, too. Maddox and Corey were awesome, as well, and it was so much fun to help Maddox "give five" to all the ladies as they walked by. Hope the blisters heal quickly :-)
