10 Months!

My baby is officially in the double digits this Friday when he will be 10 months old. For his 10 month shot we decided to comb his hair down. Isn't it cute? He's changing so fast now. He now blows kisses, stands on his own daily for 10-15 seconds, says "daddy", "mama", "bye", "Hi!", "Kee" - kitty, and "Dee" - Deer. He of course says more, but we can't exactly make out what he's trying to communicate. We've started signing with him too. He knows the sign for milk - we use that for nursing. He's started signing "more". He is still waving and pointing like crazy. He now crawls at super speed, but sort of like a bulldog because he turns his hands in and bows his elbows out. It's adorable. His butt waddles quite a bit too.
Still just the 4 teeth so far, but he may be getting more as evidenced by some crabbiness and poor sleeping at night.
He's still lovin' his mama and now if he can't get to me he gets a little panicked. This morning when I got home from work he was awake and I handed him off to Corey so I could get ready for bed. He instantly started to cry and gasp for air as if he was just shocked at the idea that someone else hold him.

Maddox's new friends! Corey's friend from high school, Peter, and his wife Julie had a baby in July. This is little Evan; isn't he adorable? So much cute, dark hair!
Maddox just loved to check him out.

This is Corey's buddy in the music business, Ben, and his daughter Addie. She's a year old now and Maddox had a blast playing for the afternoon.
They were both interested in the car though...
...but Maddox was able to bully through.
Big blue eyes!
Blueberries! - Maddox is loving to eat more and more now. He'll take 10+ bites at each meal now. He loves blueberries, watermelon, grapes, chicken, Purely-O's, Fruitabu, and more. He does seem to cheek his food quite a bit though. The grandparents got to experience that first hand when my dad was trying to figure out what Maddox was chewing on and we found melon in his mouth from lunch. It was 7pm! Here's some lovely shots of Maddox and a blueberry frenzy...
Can you see the blueberry on his tongue?
"Hey, who are you lookin' at?"

"Okay, I think I'm ready for my bath now."
"Yep, I'm all done."
Moving day! That's right we've officially sold, closed, moved and are now in a tiny one bedroom apartment in St Paul until our new home is finished in January. We can't wait! We enlisted lots of family movers for the event and Dad came up with the big trailer. Maddox was quite the entertaining distraction.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL THE MOVERS! WE APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH!
Well, here it is in all it's messy, tiny, cluttered glory!

Here's the big family snuggling on the bed. Maddox woke up from a nap, so I went in to nurse him and he fell asleep on my lap. I was trapped there for an hour! Every time I tried to move him he would get upset. It was quite relaxing though.
"Go Vikings!" Maddox is taking after his daddy. He loves football already.
Tiny bedroom - We have our queen bed, two dressers, a changing table, nightstand and crib all in our tiny bedroom.
"Excuse me Cooper, but can I borrow you for an excellent game I have in mind."
"Here hop in this bag..."
"...and now I'll shake you all around."
Oh, here are some cute pics from up at the cabin I forgot to add. There are actually more of a pontoon ride that I have to get off of Angie's camera too. One of our last nights at the cabin Maddox kept covering his ears like this when we'd say, "Maddox, how big are you".
So big? I'm not really sure what he's trying to show us here.

LOVE the photos, Heidi! Especially Maddox trying to get the cat in the bag. I'm sure after a few months of living in a 1 bedroom place, your new house will feel huge!
