Home Sweet Home

It was great being at the hospital and having all of the support of the wonderful nurses (aka Heidi's work girls), but nothing can beat the comfort and familiarity of being at home. Here's Maddox (I love typing his name) all bundled up for the car ride home. Suprisingly he slept the entire ride with nothing more then a squeak and some gurgles. I hope every car ride will go that smoothly, wishful thinking I know, but it doesn't hurt to try.
Grandma Michelle came over to bring us some food and chocolate chip cookies and shockingly she couldn't leave without holding Maddox for nearly the entire visit.
Auntie Angie also stopped by to give some sisterly advice on everything from nursing to soothing to how to sneak those quick cat naps in whenever possible.

The last couple of days have been so awesome and we can't wait to show off our new son to everyone and anyone. It seems that almost every hour brings on some new changes in him and we just can't wait to see what he will do next.
Love ......

Corey, Heidi Sue, and Maddox

Such a cutie! He looks so different already! Just remember, I'm available for "sisterly advice" any ole time.

Love you all,
-Angie

Oh, he is GORGEOUS! Anytime you need advice, there are a slew of moms who read this. We've all been through it (some of us more than once!) I really love his hair—it looks so soft. Enjoy this time, but don't be afraid to ask for help, especially if all you need is sleep.
Love to you. Can't wait to meet him!

What great pictures! Your baby is just beautiful-looks like a cuddler & hugger kind of baby. Katie said he is even cuter in person. Glad you're home and settled in. Enjoy every minute. Love & kisses, Val

Wow - he is so cute. I just want to pick him up and kiss him on his chubby checks. I remember how wonderful it was to say the baby's name - at last you could see the baby and call it by it's name that you have choosen for them. It's just a wonderful feeling. I also remember how you want to show them off to the world and say, "Look at how beautiful my baby is!" When you have a baby of your own, you really get the phrase, "Children are truly God's gift." Enjoy and take care.

Love, Michele

Oh, Heidi and Corey! He is so beautiful! You guys will be great parents. The wonderful thing about being a parent is being able to watch and enjoy all the changes in your children. They grow up way too quickly! Enjoy! Sarah

Heidi,
Will you call me at the Beacon before Tuesday noon and I'll get his birth in the paper this week. He and Gabby can be in the same news article. 800-263-3991 as for Val. Thanks! How's it going at home?
