Weighing in at 10 lbs 7 ounces, Maddox is officially 2 weeks old. We had to bring him in again this week because we now both have thrush. He's obviously thriving on breast milk though since he's up 2 lbs already.

We spent the weekend at Grandma & Grandpa's house for Deer Camp. I didn't get to hunt this year, but it was fun hanging out with everyone. Maddox slept pretty well there minus the fussy evenings. Thanks to Grandma & Auntie Angie, I did survive.
The Lip! - Yes, he's a natural already.
Maddox had his own special Deer Camp outfit just like Grandpa and crazy Uncle Mark.
Rowan just couldn't quite figure out if Maddox was a toy or what, but he definitely wanted to get his hands on him.
"The Special Hold" - As some of you may remember, this was Rowan's favorite position and Maddox likes it too.
The monkey outfit - this outfit my mom got because I always told her that she has to love my baby even if it's a "monkey baby". I was expecting a baby with tons of dark hair. Uncle Scott got to enjoy him in his fuzzy little outfit.
Angie bought me this AWESOME sling from Peapods Natural Parenting and Maddox thinks it's the greatest thing ever.
Uncle Kyle had just the right touch all weekend to keep Maddox well rested.
Tummy time - Maddox isn't quite sure about tummy time yet, but he's quite good at lifting his head up. At Grandma & Grandpa's on Saturday he even rolled over onto his back. We're pretty sure the weight of his large head just pulled him over, but he did it again today, so I'm counting it.
Maddox is quite the snuggler - he loves to nestle into anyone's chest and sleep for hours. He's just so darn cute!
It's been another hectic week with the whole Thrush thing, but now that everything's treated and shouldn't cause anything else we should be on our way to feeling completely healthy. Maddox is growing a ton and I've been trying to get all the 0-3 month clothes on him since they won't fit for long at this rate. It's just amazing how much they change every single day. Corey's still trying to adjust since he hasn't gotten a lot of time to bond with Maddox yet, but he's getting there. He's definitely helping out around the house and gets me anything I need so that's great. We're all doing supergreat!

Here's Maddox (I love typing his name) all bundled up for the car ride home. Suprisingly he slept the entire ride with nothing more then a squeak and some gurgles. I hope every car ride will go that smoothly, wishful thinking I know, but it doesn't hurt to try.
Grandma Michelle came over to bring us some food and chocolate chip cookies and shockingly she couldn't leave without holding Maddox for nearly the entire visit.

The last couple of days have been so awesome and we can't wait to show off our new son to everyone and anyone. It seems that almost every hour brings on some new changes in him and we just can't wait to see what he will do next.
